How smart do you have to be to take academic classes in highschool?

Next year im in grade 10, long story short , how smart do you have to be?? Is math academic hard. Im a hard working student I got 80's and 90's in applied should i move up a notch.|||you really dont have to be smart, honestly. you just have to be willing to put in extra work and get the extra help if you need it. and study.|||The classes aren't all that much more difficult, just a bit more work at a slightly quicker pace. If you're pulling off mainly a's and b's now you'll be just fine.|||that's a good idea, to move up a notch and challenge yourself.
