How do smart students always seem to know everything?

They get almost everything right. How do they become so resourceful so quickly? A teacher assigns everyone a chapter to read, and the next day the they seem to have already know everything from it. How do they learn so fast. I wish I could be that good. Do they actually study real hard or are they just naturally smart? |||Honestly,I'm in all honors classes and advanced classes and really I do neither.

I don't study except when ABSOLUTELY necessary.

And it also depends on yur definition of smart. Someone to me who is smart is someone who knows basic necessary information. You'd be very surprised at the number of these "smart" kids that actually don't know most of their basic information.Don't sweat it.You're just as smart as them just maybe not in school but in a different way.

|||probably a combination of both. they either study really hard or some might not even read it and just know random facts and are really smart
