It's better if it has GPS capabilities and runs on Windows Mobile Operating System
What do you think about the HP ipaq 6900 series smart phone?|||The best is such a personal decision. It really depends on your requirements. Since you require GPS and WinMobile you've narrowed down the field considerably. If you have a particular carrier you want to use (or already use) that may narrow down the field even more.
What I did to make my final decision was to read the specifications of the phones available after using my criteria (to narrow the field) and also did web searches of the reviews for that model.
Based on all that (carrier, call quality, PIM features, price), I selected the Nokia E62. There are some features that it's European sibling has that this one doesn't (WiFi, 3G) and I would have like to have those, but they weren't necessary. Do your preshopping home work and you won't regret you decision.
Here are some links to get you started...
PS - It took me a month to make my final decision.

What is more convenient a smart card or 7 day short trip pass to go to DC?
I wll start commuting from Greenbelt Md to Washington DC five times a week. What is the best way to make this commute the least expensive? A 7 day short trip pass or by using a smart card? Thank you for your answers.|||A short trip pass will not get you from Greenbelt to downtown - it is capped at $2.65 per trip. You'll have to figure out for yourself (depending on your destination downtown) whether it is cheaper to get a 7 day unlimited use pass or not.
If you are driving you will at least need a SmartTrip card to pay for parking.
A lot of employers in D.C. offer transit benefits. I would find out if yours is one of them. Commuting costs can really add up!|||Smart Trip card is more convenient. You can take it any where and if you look into it it shows you that you get a better discount if you use smarttrip. But you should really put in your exact location and exact destination on wmata.com go to the trip planner. It should show you the difference between paying cash and what you save with a smart trip card. The website will also give you a little more info/cost on that 7day pass as well. Hope this helped you!

How do I transfer iTunes smart playlists from one PC to another?
I'm transfering my mp3 library to a new computer and don't want to have to recreate my over 75 smart playlists|||I'm pretty sure that all the iTunes playlists info is saved in C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\My Documents\My Music\iTunes
You can simply copy the folder "iTunes", to the same directory on the other PC with iTunes installed on it. That is how I restored all my music libraries after I re-installed my Windows.

What would happen if a Smart car and a Tundra were to crash?
It's a real random question that I was wondering. Some say the smart car is safe, others say it's not. Which of the drivers would be the safest and which car would be more damaged? What car is safer?|||One of the most important things to realize is that during crash testing, they crash the vehicles into stationary objects. That means they only have to dissipate THEIR energy. When it comes to a real world crash, the heavier car has alot more energy and momentum which it transfers to the smaller car.
For instance: A 1000 pound car hits a wall at 10 miles an hour. It has to negate that much momentum. Same small car hits a 3000 pound car head on, each going 10 mph. The small car will end up going the opposite direction at 5mph, while the big vehicle will still be going 5mph in its original direction. That means the small car underwent THREE TIMES the acceleration as the large vehicle (10 to -5 compared to 10 to 5.)
While the smart car is safe when hitting stationary objects, it is not terribly safe when being hit by other, larger vehicles. Id much prefer being in the tundra.|||All toyotas have engineered bodies that will take on about everything. It would smash a smart car. Toyota when hit head on the motor mounts break away dropping engine and top half of front comes up and hood latches to protect passengers. Hit at sides, 35 MPH impact will not go in car.
|||NO NO NO!!!!
Check crash tests! You'd be safer in a smart than in a Ford Crown Vic!!
THAT YOUTUBE VIDEO TESTED BOTH CARS AT 70MPH!!!
BOTH CARS WERE TERRIBLY DESTROYED!!! YOUTUBE IS NOT A RELIABLE SOURCE OF PERSUASION!!!!
|||well the smart is pretty safe for it's size but it does not really stand a chance against a Tundra..but then again there are just a few cars that can really protect the pasangers in case of a head on with a truck/suv|||No matter What safety rating a car gets it can't be safe, when it goes up against something three times its size. Tundra probably safer higher up.|||depends on speed the people in the tundra would be safer only because it is 3 times the size|||Everyone in the smart car would die.

Is it smart to pay more money than my car payment to pay it off early?
I owe around $12,000 on my Ford Escape. 50k miles. I have 39 remaining payments of 375.00. Is it smart to pay more than my car payment or even pay double payments each month to try and pay it off early or is that not smart?|||Paying off a loan early is almost always the smart move. You will save money in interest. The earlier in the loan you are, the more interest you will save.
This is true of any loan, including mortgages and credit cards.|||Do you have a saving account?
Does it have 6 months of income in it?
If you answered no to either of these questions, then you need to build you saving first.
If you lose your job today with no savings but the car is paid off you are screwed as you have no access to cash and no income.
If you loss you job with money in the bank, even with a car payment you can get by for a while.
See my point?|||If the interest rate is high it is a good idea, and even may be a good idea if it is not so high. The possible exception would be if you have balances on credit cards; pay those off first if the interest on those is higher than on the car loan.|||Yes, it is smart to pay more and/or pay off debt early.|||well paying installment before due date .they will give certain amount discount

How do I use the Smart Defender player weapon in Madden 09?
How do I use the Smart Defender or "Light Bulb" player weapon? I know that I sould be able to see some of the other players play but I dont know how to use it. How does it work?|||You can't use it. How it works is, if it's the QB that's smart then if the defense runs the same plays over and over, then the light bulb with fill up with each recognized play. If it's a defender with the bulb then the more frequently the QB calls the same plays, their bulb will fill up. Now, seeing plays run consecutively on either side fills up the light bulb more rapidly.
Why are Holland the only smart nation to legalize and sell Marijuana?
They are smart people. Marijuana should be legal everywhere to those above age. It would give people an alternative to exploding their liver and kidneys from alcohol all the time :) And it would be great for tax, crime would lower and physical violence in crime and relationships (domestic abuse etc)|||Holland is the not the only nation that has legalized marijuana. Many nations are now reviewing they're ineffective and outdated marijuana policy's put in place by pressure of foreign governments before marijuana use was widespread.(Guess who did the most pressuring for other countries to ban it? The USA) Conventions such as the Single convention(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Single_Conv鈥?/a> led most nations to ban marijuana before it was fully studied and a common drug. Since the single convention many nations have broken away from what they agreed to and started reducing the penalties for marijuana. Almost all modern nations have decriminalized marijuana and deal with it by means of a civil citation or fine. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of鈥?/a>
Marijuana was made illegal in the united states during the Mexican revolution. In the early 1900s, the western states developed significant tensions regarding the influx of Mexican-Americans. Refugees from the revolution in Mexico in 1910 spilled over the border and later in that decade, bad feelings developed between the small farmer and the large farms that used cheaper Mexican labor. Then, the depression came and increased tensions, as jobs and welfare resources became scarce.
One of the "differences" seized upon during this time was the fact that many Mexicans smoked marijuana and had brought the plant with them. However, the first state law outlawing marijuana did so not because of Mexicans using the drug. Oddly enough, it was because of Mormons using it. Mormons who traveled to Mexico in 1910 came back to Salt Lake City with marijuana. The church was not pleased and ruled against use of the drug. Since the state of Utah automatically enshrined church doctrine into law, the first state marijuana prohibition was established in 1915. (Today, Senator Orrin Hatch serves as the prohibition arm of this heavily church-influenced state.) Other states quickly followed suit with marijuana prohibition laws, including Wyoming (1915), Texas (1919), Iowa (1923), Nevada (1923), Oregon (1923), Washington (1923), Arkansas (1923), and Nebraska (1927). These laws tended to be specifically targeted against the Mexican-American population. Keep in mind during this time period the leaders and representatives of this country were ALL Caucasian and didn't hide the fact that they were severely racist. Any legislation targeting a minority group had a high chance to pass. If you go to the library of congress and read some of the things that were said you would be in disbelief, one such quote was "All Mexicans are crazy and this stuff is what makes them crazy" (referring to marijuana). Drug law after drug law past and the U.S. pressured many foreign countries into prohibiting the drug also as previously stated. President Nixon commissioned a group called the schafer commission to extensively study the illegality of the substance and to report their findings. It is rumored based on the statement of a secret service member inside the oval office at the time(although not verified) that President Nixon read the report and threw it away after reading the first page of the report that recommended legalizing marijuana. A copy of the report can be found online.
On a better note many states/countries are now realizing the marijuana laws are ineffective and decriminalizing it. Massachusetts is expected to join a dozen other states with decriminalization via voter referendum on November fourth. And many modern countries have started the decriminalization process including Canada, Mexico, Australia, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Turkey and Portugal.|||Who cares go move to Holland if you want legal weed|||Yes and all the people who are totally over getting loaded can distribute it and take all their jobs and get filthy rich! f*ck yeah!

How do I become smart enough for school?
I really want to go to a four year university but I feel that I'm not smart enough to succeed. I completely failed my SAT (even though you can't technically fail, I consider it such because they are a record low).
I don't believe that I'll be able to keep up with my peers because I'm below average intelligence. I know that motivation and hard work helps with success but it doesn't when you're a moron like I am.

How to be street smart in Stockholm city?
I just moved to Stockholm, I speak and can understand a bit of swedish but I want to know how to be street smart. Got any tips?|||Stockholm is a very safe city for its size. The likelihood of anything bad happening is minimal, especially if you use common sense. From your profile, I'm also assuming you're a guy, which means fewer people will bother you.
In my years of living there, I only encountered one dangerous situation. I missed the last train home, and had to take the subway late at night, to an industrial neighborhood ~25 minutes from my own. There was a group of guys on the subway cursing/insulting passengers, who got off at the same stop. I realized that they were following me, and when I sped up, so did they. I knew the area very well, so I turned a corner quickly and took off through a shortcut in the woods. I read in the paper the next day that a guy on that road, at the time I had been there, was mugged and beaten by a group of guys (and I'm almost certain it was the same ones).
This and similar situations can be mostly prevented with basic safety rules:
-Avoid isolated areas (parks, industrial areas, docks) late at night. Don't wander around anywhere alone if you're intoxicated.
-If you need to go through these areas after dark, make sure you're familiar with your surroundings. Don't carry valuables with you. Always carry the number to one of the major taxi companies.
-If you encounter a rowdy group on public transport, let other people off the train/subway/whatever before you. If they get off at your planned stop, take transport to the next stop, and then back to yours.
-Know when big sports games are happening, and avoid the subways for several stops in either direction from the venue. It's particularly bad around Globen/Gullmarsplan. If you seen a large drunken crowd in the streets, take another road.
-People sometimes try to scam for money around Central Station and other highly trafficked areas, often dressed as professionals in a "dire" situation. If someone approaches you for money, ignore them and walk away. Some people find it difficult to do this, but it's honestly the best approach. If you talk with someone, it's much harder to get them to leave you alone. This applies to any uncomfortable situation really, just walk away.
-Never put bags or belongings to your side, if you have to put them on the ground, keep them between your feet.
-Don't sit on outdoor steps or in doorways, even if lots of other people are doing so. If you ever go out on a weekend night, you'll understand why.

Can I program the smart entry key of a toyota Prius to a corolla?
I have 2 spare toyota prius smart entry keys. It is possible to re-program them for my corolla-ultima? Is there any cross compatibility between toyota prius and toyota corolla's smary entry keys? If so how do I need to re program those keys for my corolla?|||Hi,
the first question I have is what vehicle the two spare Smart Keys were intended for, if any. Were they originally linked to a Prius?
Changing the Smart Key's coding is not something you can do at home or at an aftermarket/independent shop. They simply won't have the programming equipment.
You have to use a Toyota dealership to reprogram the Smart Keys, however you will run into a much bigger issue.
Smart Keys are linked to a specific vehicle's transponder/receiver system with coding through a specialty progamming computer.
To explain this, if you somehow lost both of your original, already-programmed Smart Keys for any Toyota/Lexus, you would not only have to buy new Smart Keys, but you would also have to replace the internal Smart Key transponder computer inside the vehicle itself.
It is a linked and internally-locked system and it will not accept new Smart Keys made without one of the original Smart Keys present to verify the original codes. One will not work without the other.
So, unless the Smart Keys you have have never been programmed to a Prius and are completely blank, you will not be able to link them to another vehicle, even if that vehicle has a Smart Key system. It doesn't matter if it is a Corolla or any other vehicle.|||No you cannot. It is like two separate streams running which never meet. Furthermore, just to programme a key you need a very sophisticated chip making equipment which costs around 拢6000 from China and Japan, so forget it, do not think too much of this possibility. Oh, one thing I forgot to tell you, do not believe these ebay advertisers who lure for programming techniques, they are just nonsense just to grab money.|||No, the frequencies are different. Now, a lesson for the professor...
Automotive locksmiths have the capability to reflash Toyota modules without replacement. We've been able to do this for several years now.
the first question I have is what vehicle the two spare Smart Keys were intended for, if any.

How much would you pay for a smart car in the US?
The smart car is coming to the US. A car dealership had a smart car in the 4th of July parade and was selling it for $25,000. In Europe they are affordable. This prices doesn't seem to justify anything of the car except the image of driving the US's smallest car. It won't save you money with its price tag.|||Google"Smart Car USA" Website for all you would ever want to know about the USA version of the Smart Car.
There are 3 models, the bottom of the line is called "Pure" it is priced at $12,000, the one up is the "Passion" it is priced at $14,000 and the top of the line is the Cabriolet (Convertible) is is priced at $17,000.
The Smart Cars currently available are "Gray Market" cars, Gray market are cars that were not manufactured to USA specifications and were converted to USA specifications by a DOT %26amp; EPA approved shop. The cost of conversion is in many cases greater than the cost of the original window price.
The USA Smart Car will be available the first quarter (Jan-Feb-Mar) of 08. For a deposit of $99.00 (refundable) you can get on a waiting list.

How to uninstall Eset smart security that is not in control panel and it is corrupted?
my eset smart is corrupted and i can't uninstall it in control panel. and i tried using perfect uninstaller software to remove but the eset doesn't appear on it. i also tried the safe mode and in command line but it doesn't work either..|||The only way to remove a program in which the uninstaller goes bad or gets corrupt...is do a search for all files and folders including hidden ones....and use Eset Smart Security as the search item...(and use other variations also like antivirus product....etc)......target "C" drive and click on search...once the folders come up...you can delete them one by one...........|||You might want to check out http://revouninstallermax.com for information on how to uninstall programs when you can't get them off your control panel.

A smart-phone isn't right for me, but PDA's are going obsolete; any help on what to do to keep work easy?
I like to keep my devices separate, so the idea of a smart-phone is out of question for me, and I use a PDA (Ipaq) but since they are going obsolete, finding accessories to keep it up and running is getting harder. Can anyone help me with what I can do to work on Microsoft Office on the go without the need of a smart-phone? Thanks.|||unfortunately, it looks like the age of the PDA is falling- long live the SmartPhone. Business believe its all about convergence nowadays, which i personally don't like. I want to surf the Internet on my TX while also talking on my cell. Your best bet is to go with a ultra portable computer that doesn't cost much. They got a good 5 hours or so of batterylife, and since they run on either Windows or Linux, there's no shortage of applications. They start up instantly, and all are wireless. Check out Asus, although Dell has their line of Mini's, and nearly every manufacturer except for Apple has some sort of low cost ultra portable. Don't expect to pay more than 500
Also, if your problem is trying to talk on a phone while doing your tasks, then a good smartphone that can multitask well plus a bluetooth headset is all you need.|||There are still PDAs available used. Look on ebay or Craigslist. You could even buy a used smart phone and just not activate the phone.|||Regretfully your options are limited - as the previous responder said, the PDA's days are very numbered at this point.
Your other options, aside from smartphone, are pretty much going to be to carry a laptop or perhaps one of sony's UMP devices...which I dont think they even make anymore, but basically it was a slider-face laptop....very pricey for what you're talking about.
Unfortunately, my friend, your best bet really does lie with giving in to the same trend that most of the rest of the world has and getting a smartphone of some kind. In terms of doing MS Office and whatnot, you're really going to want to look into a blackberry. I know it's not the answer you're looking for - and if you can find one of the sony ultra-mini-PCs, that might be a reasonable solution for you, but I can tell you: I wouldnt want to carry one in my pocket. They're small, but they aint THAT small.

How smart are Golden Retrievers compared to humans?
I once heard they were as smart as 2 year olds but I don't know. My dog is very smart. Well?|||It has been scientifically proven that dogs are the equivilant of a 2-3 year old child in intelligence. They show the same reasoning levels, deception, comprehension, etc. While they can't count, they do know when there are a number of items are there and when some are missing. They are self aware as well.
As for where the Golden fits in I am not sure.|||No dog is as smart as a human but overall within dog breeds a Golden Retriever is highly intelligent and I'm pretty damn sure it's in the top 10 smart dogs.

All depends on how you bring a dog up but generally speaking the breed is smart.|||Well a Golden Retriever is smart but I doubt that they are smarter than a human...NO dog is...dogs are smart in their own ways. What are some ways to test if your cat is smart?
I think my cat is smart, but my family doesn't believe me. I want to prove that he is smart. Are there any ways to see if a cat is smart?
Thanks!|||Although cats are not as amenable to training as dogs, you CAN train them. I like the idea of teaching it to use the toilet; there is, in fact, a training guide available.
A better test of a cat's intelligence, however, would be to devise tasks that require it to use reasoning to solve a simple problem. For instance, I had a cat that learned how to open a door knob (the lever-type.) At first, he stood on his hind legs, but the handle was just out of his reach. After a lot of frustrated meowing and pacing back and forth (because I refused to let him out), he suddenly jumped onto a piece of furniture that was next to the door, and which allowed him to reach over and use his weight to depress the handle!|||Take the cat out into the forest and set it free for two weeks. If the cat survives the two weeks it is smart enough and no further testing is necessary.
What we train our cats to do in the house is not a sign of any intelligence in the animal. All that shows is how adaptable the animal is.|||train them to do tricks :)
look it up on youtube, theres some tutorials that help :D|||Teach it to use the toilet like Mr. Jinx. That'll show your family.

How smart do you have to be considered a genius?
I am 14 years old. I have already built about 3 computers and programmed software. I get As or A+ every test. I am in geometry, 1 grade level above. I could easily get A's in the next level up. My dad is super smart and I love technology. Am I close to being a genius or super smart? Is their any way to get closer? Any help is appreciated|||It depends on what certain people think geniuses are.
I think they are people who know everything, and are brilliant. And can explain themselves very well and interesting at the same time.

How does the Smart Key system work on the Toyota Prius?
I recently purchase a Toyota Prius, the smart key system worked properly when we drove it off the lot. Then latter on we went to start it. We hit the power button twice but the car would not go into gear. I turned off the smart key system and put the key in, shut the car off and turned it back on and it worked. How do I get the smart key system working? Am I doing something wrong?|||There's a nice flash animation tutorial on the Smart Key System (formerly called Smart Entry %26amp; Smart Start) available at:
http://www.toyota.com/vehicles/2008/priu鈥?/a>
I also highly suggest re-reading the "Smart Entry and Start System" section of you Toyota Prius Owner's Manual. In the US 2004 Prius Owner's Manual, that's in section 2-1 "Operation of Instruments and Controls," "Keys and Doors" section, pages 23-33. You should also review the use of the Power switch and the push button start, which is also in your Owner's Manual. In the US 2004 Prius Owner's Manual, that's in section 2-6 "Operation of Instruments and Controls," "'POWER' Switch, Transmission, and Parking Brake" section, pages 129-134. Your manual's pages may vary, however.
A common problem with new owners is that they neglect to press the brake pedal when trying to start the car. If you just press the POWER button without having your foot on the brake pedal, you just cycle between "OFF/ACC/IG-ON" modes. OFF is off; ACC is the accessory mode - 12v power is available for the lights, windows, wipers, and radio, but not much else; IG-ON is like ACC except that you now also have the MFD powered on and climate control/fan use. Note that the sole power usage is from the 12v battery, which is not recharged in any of these modes. It sounds like your not starting situation is this case of forgetting or otherwise not pressing hard enough on the brake pedal when starting the car, and getting stuck/confused in IG-ON mode.
If the brake pedal is depressed while pressing the POWER button, the car will cycle between "OFF/READY." OFF is off, READY means that the car is ready to go and can be put into gear and driven. The hybrid battery is connected and will be recharged as needed by the gasoline engine, and the hybrid battery will recharge the 12v battery as needed.
Anyhow, yes, there is a toggle button under the steering wheel to turn on/off the Smart Key System if equipped. Unless you paid for this feature and don't really want it, the only reasons to turn off the Smart system would be either for valet parking, or if you are not going to be driving your Prius for 2+ weeks (reduce the parasitic load on the 12v battery).
With a recognized Smart Key on your person, as you approach the Prius near one of the external sensors (front driver's door, front passenger's door, rear hatch door) from about 6 feet, the interior dome light will turn on and the car will be expecting you. The car will unlock when the back of the door handle of the appropriate external sensor is touched. (To lock, all doors must first be closed, then touch the black square pad on the outside of the door.) Get into the car. The car will recognize that the recognized Smart Key is inside of the vehicle (interior sensor), and will await for you to press the POWER button. All this time, you never have to touch your keyfob.
If you didn't have the Smart Key System in your car, or you turned off the Smart system with the toggle button under the steering wheel, then to lock/unlock your car you'd have to press the lock/unlock remote keyless entry buttons on the keyfob, and to start the car you'd have to put the keyfob into the dash slot.
If the battery in your keyfob was dead, you'd have to use the metal mechanical key inside of the keyfob to unlock the driver's door. Then just put the keyfob into the dash slot to drive yourself to a Radio Shack or the like to get a new keyfob battery.
If the Prius' 12v accessory battery was dead, then to get into the car you'd have to use the metal mechanical key to unlock the driver's door. You'd then pop the hood, and jumpstart your Prius... (The remote keyless entry will not work without the 12v battery. The car cannot connect up the hybrid battery to start the car without the computers running, and the computers first need the 12v accessory battery.)
There are some situations when the Smart system or the remote keyless entry may not work due to interference. For example:
if you have a metallic object next to your keyfob in your pocket or hand, such as a cellphone or iPod, or otherwise blocking the signal between your keyfob and the car
You are parked next to a high-power radio antenna, such as a radio station, a police/fire station, a military base|||you put the key in the slot then you depress the brake while pressing the start button then you shift from park to drive|||Smart Entry and Smart Start allow you to unlock the doors and start the car without having to take the key fob out of your pocket. Prius senses the fob in your pocket; just touch the inner surface of either front door handle (or press lightly on the rear hatch handle) to open a locked door, and just push the Power button on the dashboard to start the car.
If you have the SmartEntry Fob in your pocket and you walk away from the car while it is running, the car will beep at you a few times, and a yellow warning icon on the dash lights up: a picture of a key with an exclamation point over it. But the car keeps running. If the person with the fob stays away from the car, someone else can still get in and drive it since it is still running, but the warning light remains on (so remember to Power Off the car before leaving it).
While the car is running (in park) it will not let you lock the car doors by pressing the electric door lock button by the arm rest while the driver's door is open. It is also not possible to lock the car from the outside by pressing the button on the door handle if you don't have the fob on you. So if you leave the car running, it won't let you lock the driver's door and lock yourself out of a running car if you don't have the fob with you.
There is a button to the left and under the steering wheel labeled 'SMART' which controls whether the Smart Entry / Smart Start system is enabled or not. Push it twice to re-activate Smart Entry/ Smart Start.

I've lately been working on a comic series, it's that typical dumb guy, smart guy sort of thing. Though it's been a bit of a hit, the dumb guy seems to steal the show, as you may expect. I need to smart one to be just as likeable at the dumb guy - but how?
A good example of this is Sam %26amp; Max. Sam is my personal favourite, even though he is the smart one - though I know of plenty of people who favour Max.
Any tips?
Thanks for your help!|||Hey
Good stuff mate you are funny keep them coming your a star ha ha ha|||The smart guy must never tire of trying to help the dumb guy , make every effort to simplify beyond any possibility of mistake any task he sets out to do with the dumb guy . of course the dumb guy will reassure him that he's knows exactly what to do before following his instructions perfectly except for one minor detail - its the wrong house - or car - or person ?|||Well, there's a distinction between "likable" and "funny." You might be able to make the smart guy funnier by making him LESS likable - for example, by giving him a grouchy or sarcastic streak. But this is trite and overused.
A better idea might be to give the smart guy some kind of goal or dream of his own; jokes tend to flow pretty well out of those. If the smart guy wants to discover alien life, or start a rock band, or be a star quarterback, you suddenly have a lot more material.|||Even smart people can have foibles we can be amused by. Generally, I'd assume the smart guy's 'funniness' is in verbal adroitness, wise sayings, etc. He can be likeable by the very fact he puts up with the dumb one, with endless patience (but with wry comments making it clear he's well aware his friend/partner is unbelievably stupid).
Jeeves and Wooster are a classic duo, with the smart 'servant' forever getting his asinine 'master out of problems of his own making. Jeeves's humour is subtle - no great one liners there, but rather oblique observations which often go over Wooster's head. (It wouldn't do to embarrass the young master by telling him what a clot he is.)|||Your dumb guy is normally called a stooge.

Is this a smart/okay way to start making myself known as a poet/publishing?
What I was thinking is I could go on Watt Pad and publish my poems there. After I get some views on that, I could try sending in a poem to a newspaper with a notice to check out my eBook online. Then slowly climb up... Any tips? Other ideas? Is this a smart/okay way to do it?|||No. That's not the way to go about it. You especially don't send a publisher to a link to check out your poetry or work, that's an automatic rejection. Always follow their submission guidelines and it does not include posting your link for them to check out your poetry. Now, you can post a link to your website so they can check out the poet and whatever content you have on the site, but don't REQUIRE them to click the link in order to check out your work - they won't.
Also, reviews on watt pad doesn't mean anything because you can easily enlist yourself, your friends, and your family to start writing great reviews for you. What WILL help you is getting your poetry published in legit, professional paying magazines. If someone pays you for your work then they obviously thought it was good. Professional paying mags are the only things you can use as a publishing credit. duotrope.com has a list. GL.
And, yes, it's good to get your name out there, but you do it by getting published in paying mags and newspapers, not on some random websites that most people haven't heard of or websites that aren't legitimate.

Can you use an andoid or smart phone with a basic phone plan?
I have a basic plan with t-mobile. I only make phone calls and text messages. If u can can u put a URL of pictures of the phones?? Anyway thx!|||There's my phone, the samsung intensity, there's the octane i think, the cosmo, the cosmo touch. I wouldn't recommend the cosmo touch though because it isn't a smartphone, so the touchscreen doesn't work like, at all. The best phone to get is probably the cosmo or intensity.
Would it be smart to compliment a girl on her nails?
I think this girl is cute but im scared to talk to her. But would it be smart to compliment her nails?|||ehh guys dont really notice a girls nails compliment her outfit or her smile|||Yeah that's fine, as long as they are painted up nice, you don't want her to take it the wrong way if they are chipped and gross and she'll think you're being sarcastic.
But if you have the guts, you could compliment on her smile or her laugh or her eyes while being totally serious, us girls are suckers on that stuff.|||Girls love being complimented on their nails. To girls, their nails are very important. Ask her where she had them done. If she did them herself, she'll be flattered, and if she had them done at a salon, she'll still be happy because they are being paid attention to. Women love that. Hope this helps!|||Well if they are painted or there's something done with them, then yeah, say it, but if they're just regular then don't 'cause it'll sound odd, but no it wouldn't sound gay if you complimented them, girls would love for guys to notcie those little things they do.|||yea if her nails are painted nice and not chipping then yea but do really make such a big deal about it because talking about nails and where you got them done is more girl talk or gay guy talk but just hey cool nails or something like that would be fine|||If she has them painted, tell her that the color looks good on her. How to become smart and avoid making stupid mistakes?
There's always a time when I do something stupid which embarrasses me in front of everyone. I would love to be seen as a smart and confident person. What am I to make of a guy in a Smart car throwing a cigarette butt out of the window?
On my way to work yesterday while stopped at a stoplight, a greenie in a Smart car deathtrap for two flicked a cigarette butt out of his window. What is with you greenies? Are you not green full time?|||Disgusting and hypocritical. We marvel at this odd double-standard. Like people who eat cheesecake with a diet coke. It's a shame that they don't get the irony!|||Talk about bitter and angry--you are obviously bitter about environmentalists, and your uninformed stereotyping is a classic symptom of anger and/or low self-esteem. There are plenty of reasons to drive a smart besides environmentalism, just like there are many reasons to buy any other car.
|||As for looks, I expect you have the smug, arrogant look of someone who feels better by putting down people with different values and priorities.

Some people are only interested in the fact that it is going to turn heads and save them money on gas. My father for example drives a Prius and could give a hoot about the environment.
There is something called the Gee wiz factor when you have something that is new and not often seen it makes people say gee whiz.
hope this helps|||Why does anyone flick their butts out the window? Apparently the Earth is their ashtray......
I have heard that some don't like their cars to smell of cigarettes. I don't think I need to expand on this one......
In our present age of precisely knowing what smoking does, why does anyone still smoke??
That Guy: Cigarette filters are NOT biodegradable! They contain plastic which does not break down. Imagine what they do to the lungs?|||Wow, what a generalization!
All "greenies" aren't dedicated? He's not actually hurting the environment by killing himself. What I want to know is why being environmentally aware has a bad connotation. Is it a bad thing for people to want our world to be as healthy as possible? I don't think very many people understand that no species lasts forever. What happen to smart card access door during electrical break down?
You know those secured doors with smart card or magnetic card access? where you have to flash or swipe to get in?
I always wonder what will happen if there is any electrical break down?
are those thing powered by battery or electrical plug?
if by battery? what happen if the battery died? will dismounting the thing trigger any alarm?|||Most such buildings have a back-up generator that kicks in if there is a black-out. These generators usually only run emergency and essential things (such as security doors and emergency lighting) and can run for 12 -24 hours usually.
After this period, they doors will be deactivated (unlocked) as the electromagnet will be turned off.
The doors themself are powered through the AC mains, with the back-up generator in parallel, so neither battery or plug powered (a plug comes from the AC mains though, I am only say this as you cannot grab a plug an pull in out for the door to turn off).
Interfering with the power supply to the door will most likely trigger an alarm, a testing circuit would probably be in the circuit to test whether the door has been unlocked without autherisation.

What does the smart meter do better than you meter you have now?
Why do we need to get the smart meter if our meter is still working?|||The meter is now based on the distance that light travels in 1/c seconds, as opposed to the original meter that was based on the the length of a pendulum whose half-period was one second. Of course, c is derived from measuring how many meters light travels in one second, so the definition is a bit circular.
What is the difference between a SMART person and a WISE person?
I have heard the phrase ''a smart person learns from their mistakes, a wise person learns from the mistakes of others'' but is this the what the difference is, or is there more to it than that?
What is the exact definition of SMART and WISE and what is the exact difference between the meaning of the 2 words?|||A smart person uses knowledge without involving their past.
A wise person uses knowledge based on experience from their past.|||Smart: having or showing quick intelligence or ready mental capability
Wise: having the power of discerning and judging properly as to what is true or right; possessing discernment, judgment, or discretion.
In my own words, smart is being intellectually adept, while wise is being educated in matters that don't have a definite answer.
For example: a smart person might be really good at algebra. A wise person would come up with an honest and true answer for a friend that asked for some advice.|||Smart refers to the cerebral way of gaining knowledge.
Wisdom, for example, is always a choice; it doesn't come automatically with those high SAT scores. A key difference between "smart" and "wise" is that "wise" is not merely cerebral.. .it is that wisdom includes also the necessary practicality of common sense.|||wise sounds more like a long-term meaning, like an old person that lived long enough already knows what life is about, what's going to happen, and smart is like you think in that very moment of something pretty ingenious or intelligent|||Smart Person can mean different things a clever and cute in other parts, and a wise person is like a good Samaritan some one who likes to help|||wise means smarter than their years, smarter than the average person of the same age, like an old soul

How to talk to a smart guy/ say intelligent things?
I like a guy and he's really, really smart. I'm not as smart but I'm not an idiot either. I'd just like to be able to talk to him about intelligent subjects and impress him. We're already friends and I feel fairly comfortable talking to him. I just need intelligent things to say.|||Don't try too hard, be yourself. You don't have to be super smart to be with him, if he is worth it, then he should love you for you.|||Well, being an idiot isn't the problem with him. He already likes you as he is your friend. You must know enough about him to converse on topics that interest him right? Wise up to that fact and exploit it better and break into other topics when you have a feel on his stand, ideas, and perspective. You can disagree but it is on how you do it so it appears you have some backbone too. No body likes someone who keeps wallowing on their opinion, thoughts or ideas just to impress. Have an opinion but know why and to what degree you want to discuss it.......|||Trust me, you don't need to worry about that sweety.
Just ask about what he's interested in, you don't need to look like something you're not.
In reality he'll probably be more attracted to someone who's real en lieu of someone who emulates a profound intellectual prowess.

What is the difference between an iphone and a smart phone?
I am in the process of buying a new phone. What is the difference between an iphone and a smart phone? Which is one of the two is a more durable phone?|||An iPhone is a type of smart phone. Other smart phones include Droid, Blackberry, Palm, plus others.
Smart phones all have the following features in common:
- High-res color touch screen
- User-installable apps
- High speed Internet (3G or 4G, Wi-Fi)
- GPS, compass, accelerometer
- Some smart phones have real keyboards, others (like iPhone) only have on-screen keyboards
Durability depends on the specific phone model - the iPhone is probably among the more durable of all smart phones because it's metal and glass instead of plastic, but there are other smart phones that are like that too (like some of the the Verizon Droids for instance).|||The term smart phone came about when phones became more powerful in processing terms. At this point they became more like computers running more complicated applications as well as applications written by just about anyone.
The iPhone is just a smart phone made by Apple. Apple produce the hardware and operating system of the phone. This gives them complete control. They have their own app store where applications are vetted before being allowed on.
Personally I use an iPhone (3GS with 32GB memory), mainly because I liked the iPod and only wanted to carry one device around with me. Since the iPhone is also an iPod it is very good at playing music. I also believe that Apple generally make their product very easy to use. Although I work in I.T. and can work complicated systems I don’t want the hassle when it comes to my phone. The iPhone is probably more expensive compared to other phones with similar features.
Contrary to the answer by “Hugh J” iPhones can run more than one application at a time. The software was upgrade sometime ago to support this. If you are getting a new iPhone you certainly don’t need to worry about this.
Generally I’d say my iPhone is durable enough, but I keep it in a sleeve and treat it well. I’ve drop it a few times and some cracks are developing on the plastic back but it works fine and is nearly 2 years old. I’ve seen a few broken screens on other people’s iPhones though. Glass screens are harder to scratch but more likely to shatter.
Aside from getting a good case for your phone and using a screen protector you could go for a specifically tough phone. I don’t know much about the Motorola Defy but it looks pretty tough.
Try a few different phones for yourself and ask yourself what you’ll primarily be using it for. Personally I use my phone for internet and music far more than actually making calls.|||Smart phone is a category of phone, and an iPhone belongs in that category. What are some signs that your cat is really smart?
Mine got all medieval on a strawberry and killed it. As soon as I opened the plastic container she was all over it. I think she is some kind of feline genius, because no cat I ever had recognized the threat that strawberries pose.
Survey: what are signs that your cats are smart?|||The ability to use an abacus, written and oral aptitude of Latin, the ability to communicate in both American and International sign language, proficiency in quantum mathematics, and the ability to catch the light from a laser pen.|||Dashing Geek, are you certain that this is a sign of feline intelligence or is it a cry for help? Has she (the cat) been psychologically tested? A cat scan maybe? Perhaps she experienced some sort of strawberry trauma when she was a kitten which she kept buried in her subconscious and is just now manifesting itself. Start watching for other subtle behavioral signs; such as : e.g., an overwhelming fear of the litter box, a disinterest in batting at Yamsters suspended from a string or other favorite toys, frequent bouts of licking or anything else you may suspect as unusual and especially anti-social behavior.
Oh, and if she can paint-- this is real geniuses , plus great therapy!|||Lol.. that's funny
I used to do the "laundry basket" intelligence test on my cats..
you put the cat on a bed, put a laundry basket over the cat (like a cage), near the edge of the bed..
Now, you quickly have to evaluate your cat's current attitude.. does it seem unhappy being confined to the "cage" (laundry basket).. if yes, then the test is on.. if it doesn't care, then this test won't accurately measure it's intelligence
the thing is, cats can easily push a laundry basket.. Can the cat figure out that if it pushes the basket over the edge a bit (it shoudl allready be CLOSE to the edge) then it can excape from underneath??
How quickly does it figure it out??

How can anyone tell how smart someone is with so many dimensions to guage intelligence- is it accomplishment?
What's the point to be seen as smart- to impress people, to be seen as a leader? It's not always possible to guage this without the willingness of the subject- or is it? Is it undesirable to be known as intelligent? Is it smarter to just be what people expect of us- as a rule- as long as we get what we want?|||the best guage for intelligence is good ole horse sense. just trust your judgement and start speaking to them. even an illiterate person could be the next genius or greatest inventor.
give a man 2 shovels and let em try both, a small one, and a big 1. he has to finish the job of digging a hole 5'deep by 2.5'x4'
see which shovel he chooses to use. wait for 30 seconds to make your decision before reading on.
now which one do you want or both and why? mine is the small one. ill work at a brisk pace, barely enough to breath hard or get my heart pumping, wont break a sweat and be done in under 30 minutes, more like 10-15 minutes. because the small spade takes less effort to use, its easier to move and lift because it only holds about 60% of the load of the big 1. now you use the big 1 and ill see you when im dead. its heavy, no lifting leverage, and youll get tired. ill use the big shovel and still finish about the same time, but be half dead.
so you see you can use a long neck beer as an intelligence test, just hide the opener.|||There are a lot of different types of "smart". The tests are simply gates put in place to manage privileges.

How can I become extremely smart and commit myself into doing this?
I'm so depressed at my current school, and to get out, I need to skip three grades. So, how can I commit myself into doing this, become extremely smart, and be sure I can skip three grades? I've been told that I could be very smart if I worked harder...

How do I get my smart mouth unruly four year old to mind?
My son is four years old and super smart. My problem is he won't mind me or anyone else,he has a smart mouth, and is so hyper that I cannot seem to get control of him no matter what I try.If anyone has any answers or advice it would be greatly appreciated.|||well it's normal for four-year-olds to be a little terse, but here's what I suggest
-make sure your son hears good language
-make sure if your son watches TV / media it has good language
-make sure that people speaking to your son don't make "smart mouth" remarks... especially if it could be you in response to his. It only encourages it
form a relationship with your son in reading together, talking about a program together, etc. ask if he wants to help cooking, maybe?
if he starts acting rude and will not stop when warned, ignore him and stop anything you're doing for him
---edit-----
for the love of all that is good, this is not a counseling issue unless there is more to this than we are hearing. small children are rude for awhile because they were spoiled as babies and they are being expected to do more things. The most extreme thing I'd suggest is a time-out in his room or in a chair with nothing to do for a few minutes.|||I would try taking him to a behavioral counselor. Talk with your doctor and see who they would reccomend. Every child responds diffrently to different types of correction. A counselor would be able to look at his personality type and your situation and figure out what type of punishment to use.|||Keep him away from anything containing high fructose corn syrup! I know it sounds unusual, people usually point fingers at sugar, but HFCS is way worse. It really does affect kids' behavior. You may also want to look into ADHD, if necessary.|||I understand what you are going through. This sounds like a case of ADHD. You should consider at least getting him tested for it, schools can provide you with this.
Make it very clear that sassing is bad and will not be tolerated. The only reason why he is acting like this constantly is because there has been no followthrough. He knows that he can get away with it. This can be harsh, but it's effective, as it works with my 3 year old. I ask my child if he sassed me or someone else right when he does it. I then hold his face, look him dead in the eye and tell him, "You do NOT sass me/people!" and I smack his mouth. Not the face or the cheeks. Right on the mouth. Swift and sharp, but not TOO hard. He gets the point. It has become less frequent to pretty much...he won't sass at all.
I wish you best of luck with your son. I had ADHD as a child and was put on medication. It made everything significantly better, but there is a downfall. Your child may become zombie-like after a while. I did. Docs say that Ritalin will calm a hyperactive child (although Ritalin is actually a stimulant), but they DON'T tell you that your child may lose all good aspects of his personality. He could become overly bored, won't talk, won't do anything, may lack emotions, etc. Weigh your options carefully and good luck to you!|||There is a huge difference between a spanking and a whooping... I'm not a big fan of either, but when the crime calls for a spanking, that's what my kids get.... otherwise it's a lecture or time outs or loss of priveleges... whatever the offense calls for, but just today my younger son, also 4 and smart as can be, started screaming and throwing an all out fit after preschool. I'm assuming it was because he was tired, but for whatever the cause he is responsible for his attitude, so I went to the kitchen and took out a medicine dropper, filled it with apple cider vinegar and when he opened to scream his nasty talk at me I let him have the vinegar.... it sure brought his attitude into check real quick.... I don't think I'll have to resort to that method twice!!!|||Wow, we have the EXACT SAME CHILD!! LOL My little girl is EXTREMELY intelligent, unruly, hyper and throws temper tantrums about everything. The problem with these children is because they are so smart the get easily bored and this is a new way for them to test their boundaries and see just how far they can push to get their way. I instituted a new disciplinary system for her and it seems to have helped control some of her behaviors.
We have an erasable calendar that she gets smiley faces on. When we have a good day we, together, add a smiley face to the board. If she has a bad day where there are tantrums and bad behavior such as not minding her father or me, she doesn't get the smiley for the day. Any day where she throws a temper tantrum or is extremely naughty she can actually lose smileys for the previous day, no matter how good she was!! At the end of the month we review to determine if she has enough smileys to get something she has wanted or go someplace that she likes to visit, etc. and we stick to it.
It has helped her learn consequences to not minding. Because she is so smart she fully understands that anything she does can have a negative impact on the system. No smileys, no reward!!!!
Another thing we have done is to introduce play-learning to her daily activities. She is not yet in school as I don't think she will have any benefit from pre-school because she is so advanced. We play letter regocnition games, number and addition games and things like that to stimulate her through out the day.
I don't agree with ADD or ADHD diagnosis that people are throwing out there either. A four year old is a four year old. Some are more hyper than others and MY BELIEF is a chilld that young is too young to be diagnosed with this disorder as they have not had enough exposure to the world. Some people are too quick to throw that out there when a creative and intelligent child is just expressing their boredom, lack of stimulation and frustration by acting out.
I did. What's the difference between intelligent and smart?
How would you define a smart person and an intelligent person? And what is better to be? Also, I've heard a lot of people calling each-other 'smart'. Is this flattery? Is 'smart' an over-used word (especially to praise the other person or vice-versa)?|||Intelligence implies higher learning levels, and higher education.
Smart is a learned application.
Smart can be applied to sarcasm.

"Smart" refers to quick intelligence and often a ready capability for taking care of one's own interests (Smart lawyers can effectively manipulate juries.).

Can anyone steal a car if its equipped with Smart or Intelligent key?
Can u start a car with the push button when there is no key present in the car. The vehicle has to detect the chip in the smart key in order 2 start.
Does anyone have any knowledge about this?
Thanks.|||Of course - even with anti-theft technology, no car is truly theft-proof. Many of the modern keys (i.e. Smart key) uses RFID to transmit the signal from the key to the car, rather than the old resistance technology. While it is more difficult, a tech-savvy thief can either hack or capture the RFID, effectively telling the car that the key is present. Likewise with the "smart" key fobs.
This is difficult, since some of the systems go all the way up to 128 bit encryption, but it is not impossible, since most any short range wireless communication systems like that can be hacked.
I think the TI guys did a demonstration on something like this a few years back, using a laptop, antenna, and brute force hacking - prior to the 128 bit days.|||What car?|||In general, the car can't be started without the proper key. However, it can be stolen by tow truck, which is becoming increasingly common.
Some systems are not as secure as others. Many disable the fuel pump when the proper key is not used, but the fuel pump can be hot-wired. GM Passlock systems can be defeated by leaving the key in the "run" position for ten minutes (it is in the owner's manual for my daughter's 2004 Classic), which strikes me as odd.

What is the easiest way to know for sure whether you are smart and pretty?
I can't ask anyone I know because they can't possibly give me a straight answer and I'm rather technologically retarded so i don't know how to put pics on the internet. I think I'm pretty (I know, I'm conceited) but I don't know if I'm smart. I mean, I'm smart in school and stuff but not people-wise, that's for sure.|||you're pretty if you get stared a lot by strangers, you get comments about your looks from people, you get lots of smiles and get spoken to a lot by the opposite sex. you're people-smart if you've either gone through a lot of experience and can now suss people out better, or you've tapped in to your natural instincts and don't allow your emotions to cloud the imperfections of for instance a guy you really like, but you choose to ignore the fact he's a player or whatever.|||Uh idk but I am told by everyone that Ima really dumb blonde.

How can I teach my kitten to be car smart?
I want to teach him not to get in the rode and I'm going to get him fix , so will that help for him not to be in the rode? And how can he learn to be smart of being outside? And please dont be rude. He loves to go out side , but I worry . I always wacth him everytime he's outside. Thank you. Or will he learn by himself.|||Hi there.. it's quite difficult to train a cat to become street smart because they are similar to like a very young human child who never grows up since constant supervision outdoors is impossible so that that you are sure they do not get into unsafe situations. Some cats learn to avoid cars just because these large big busy objects move fast and are loud others just don't learn until they are badly injured and are lucky enough to survive the injury to further avoid them. It's a big risk to chance to see if your kitty will learn on his own not to mention a heartbreak for you if his life is ended abruptly.
Consider leash training your kitten so he can enjoy the outdoor life while under full supervision and you can have the peace of mind knowing he's always safe and having fun exploring the outdoor excursions as well.

They do wander and they do go out in the road (not rode). Please keep your kitty indoors.|||You cannot teach your cat to be road smart, no matter how hard you try, I realize that he likes to be out side, but a car will eventually hit him, and you will be heart broken. Do not let him outside. I do understand that you think you are being mean, but you also know what is best for hit. I am not trying to be mean or rude, but I am sure you do not want to come home and see him smashed in to the payment, as most cat are seen laying in the road. Therefore, every time you are driving down a road and you see a cat dead, you will know that what you are doing is not mean it is the right thing for you and your cat.|||If you are going to let him go outdoors, under supervision, train him to walk on a leash with a figure 8 harness. Definitely have him neutered. BEST BET all around though is to keep him an indoor only cat, they adjust to it.|||Look all of my cats have always been around the car and the tyres, I have always just got in and done what has to be done to get out of there and have never, ever run over the cat.

How can you test how smart a fish is?
I have to do a science fair project and I wanted to do one testing 2 types of fish on how smart they are... Does anyone know how I could test how smart a fish is?|||with my tropical fish they wait at the top of the tank every morning at 5 to be fed they seem to know when 5 is they don't do it any other time just dead on 5 o'clock|||well if he acts like he has no room like on the wall but has a lot of room then its retarded my goldfish 6 in. is not smart at all, hits other fish i guess doent even look or east a plant that 3 inches long yeah my fish isnt so i dont know make observations?|||How long do you have for this?
Most aquarium fish can be conditioned to respond to some stimulus such as taping on the tank three times right before you feed. But to show different fish's ability to learn this, would require you to set up three tanks. One for one breed, one for another, (dumb vs smart) and one control.
And it will take a few weeks to give them time to either learn or not.
Do you get the discovery channel? Myth Busters just did a show where they made a maze and tried to train the fish to run it. but that was rather involved. The feeding thing would be easier.
Oh and to the person who posted "fish have a three second memory." Ok, so tell me how salmon manage to remember how to find the EXACT spot, in the EXACT river they were spawned in? After living for several YEARS in the ocean?
Yes the theory is smell, but they still have to remember WHAT smell don't they? Come on!|||Scientsits found that common goldfish is much more smarter than dolphins. Can you disable the smart phone features in a smart phone?
I know the obvious question is why did you get a smart phone if you don't want the features? I got an iPhone as a gift, but don't plan on using the phone for more than pictures, making calls, and texting. Is there a way to disable all the extra stuff that makes the phone more expensive each month? Thanks.|||You may have to keep the data service if that's what you're talking about. Which Sony Ericsson or smart phone is best for me?
I am an AT%26amp;T customer and have always had Sony Ericsson phone. I am planning on getting my first smart phone and have a couple of options: the Xperia X10 or the Vivaz.
I am looking for a pretty basic smart phone: something to check my email with, access social network sites, and a GPS. Should I stick with the Sony Ericsson or try something new?
Thanks for your help!|||You should try the arc. Yes, the x10 is getting a gingerbread update, but mot likely is not gettting any software update after that. The arc is also trendier. If you have to chose between the two, though, I would go with the x10|||Let me do you a favor and save you some time in making your decision. You say your looking for a basic smartphone and you like SE (Sony Ericsson) phones. Dude I hear ya i've always liked SE phones they WERE awesome! Until I got my Xperia X10. I got it when it first came out and it was a waste of $200 I mean it had an old version of Android on it I think it was 1.3 or something. Plus SE added a bunch of crap to the phone witch made ALL their smart phones original but really crappy and slow. I had to "Hack" my phone just so i could up date it to a some what newer version of android (Android 2.1). Look I could go on telling you why NOT to get an SE but this would get boring. I mean I still think SE makes great regular phones but not smart phones.
So if you want a great smart phone Invest in a good model. Personaly (if my contract was up) I would get either HTC Inspire, Samsung Infuse, Motorola Atrix, or if you really have money to spend the Ipone works too(personally I don't like Apple). I know your looking for just a basic smart phone but once you try a smart phone it is impossible to go back. You will find yourself trying new things with your phone and possibly pushing its abilities to the limit when it comes to the apps. Don't expect to find a cheap inexpensive smart phone. You'll find yourself spending at least 250 to 300 dollars maybe on a good phone. And finally last bit of advice is under your contract I would get the 2GB internet plan (NOT the 256MB) plan trust me its hard to go over that.
And that's about it good luck picking out a phone.

How to burn a multi session disc in nero 9 start smart?
I have been using the free nero 9 start smart version and I'm not able to find a burn multi session option. How can I burn a multi session disc in nero 9 start smart?|||StartSmart is Nero's main menu. To burn a multi-session disc you would use "Nero Burning Rom". If it's part of the Nero program you have installed, it would be under Applications in StartSmart.|||There are some restrictions in nero 9 lite being it a free version.
