What to do when a SMART Event happens on a computer drive?

So over about the past three days, my computer gives me a message saying a drive is reporting that it may fail. I click on this and it takes me to my different drives and one shows a SMART event. Should I be worried?|||YES, get the data of the drive ASAP.|||Get the Data off of it, it wont be long before its gonna fail for good
