How can i get radio on the smart car pure?
I have an '09 smart car pure, so it has no radio. There are speakers, so is there a way i can hook my ipod or a radio onto my car?|||Yes, Most cars that do not come w/ a factory stereo still have the wiring in the wiring harness for them because essentially the wiring harnesses are all the same. There may be a bit of light fabrication need but nothing a car audio shop couldn't do for you. If you use an I-Pod and would like to integrate that into your vehicle there are car stereos that come equipped w/ i-pod plugs and/or usb ports.

Is it legal to park a Smart car sideways in London?
I have never tried it, so I am not sure if the whole car will fit into the lines of a kerb-side parking bay. I try to install smart movie in my Cell Nokia 5233 and its keep giving error message saying Expired certificate. how to resolve it.

There is a person that scored a 34 on the ACT and a really smart person. But, she doesn't know a thing about common sense.|||Sounds a bit like me. I do really well in school and so people just presume I know everything about everything. But the truth is I don't know alot of really simple things, like um... how to use a can opener properly?

Go on a trip with some professors. . .and it really is a trip.|||Welcome to my world. Basically, it's kind of like being book smart, but not street smart.|||I think you're getting 'smart' (or intelligence) mixed up with wisdom. The 34 on the ACT = very smart. No common sense = very little wisdom. A lot of younger people haven't had enough life experiences to have gained much wisdom yet (although some have).
That's my theory anyway.|||No one's perfect.

How to get rid of system smart security and redirect virus?
A couple months ago something popped up saying I should download system smart security so I did. Then I found out that it doesn't get rid of viruses it is one. Are there any smart capture cards that work with linux?

The smart meter on the side of my house caught fire and per the Fire Inspector it was the cause of the fire. Hydro came and took the meter saying it was there property. Who is at fault and if there property burnt my house why should I have to pay my deductible and risk my insurance to go up? Will my insurance go after the Hydro company? Should I get a good Lawyer?|||In Ontario, Canada and a lot of other jurisdictions, the meter itself is the property of the utility company, but the meter socket and cabling into the home belongs to the property owner. In my experience, most of these types of situations occur when there is a loose connection between the cables and the lugs in the meter socket or when the lugs themselves are loose and aren't making a good connection. Both of these conditions would be the responsibility of the property owner. Meters themselves rarely burn up if they are properly installed in a functional socket, but it can't be ruled out completely in this case. Since you mentioned that it was a "smart meter", that tells me that it was recently installed. Give it a try, get them from the pound, that way, if i doesn't work out for you (which there is no reason why it shouldn't) you can take them back, and they will already have had their shots, and been neutered.

(And left them on my son's pillow or near his bed). The last 2, I am most proud of. We got the snap traps and baited them with peanut butter. I caught 1 in a half hour. Then reset the trap with more pb. Half hour later, I hear it go off. So I check it. The mouse has set off the trap and left an ob tampon in the trap. ( I do have a pic of this somewhere). And he ate all the peanut butter. So the next time, I put a chocolate chip on the peanut butter. He got one of my sons short pencils stuck in it that time. The last and third time, I used a dab of pb and a bit of an oreo cookie. Got him with that. Now, since I still have mice, about once a week, I smear pb on the side of the cage for them to lick off. I figure if they get loose, they'll go to the pb and I won't have much of a problem.
With this smart mouse, you just need to try different baits. My mice don't like cheese, go figure, but yours may. Just try different things on a dab of pb.|||Mouse traps are the best way.
I bait them with peanut butter and the strong smell draws them to it. The mice I had were stealing my cat's cat food and storing it in my muffin tins in the bottom drawer of my stove. Usually caught the mice within half an hour after setting the traps.

I already have a family plan with Verizon (my parents pay for it). I either want a HTC Touch Pro or a Samsung Saga BUT they're listed as smartphones. Last time I asked about smart phones to the Verizon people, they said I HAD to get a data plan with it. How to Smart Sharpen an image sequence in Photoshop CS4?
I want to process an image sequence in Photoshop. I can import a sequence of images and then apply smart sharpen filter to each image individually. This is a pain. I want to Smart Sharpen the whole sequence at once. Is there an option like that in Photoshop CS4?|||Yes you can. Find your actions tab/menu/whatever.... WINDOW %26gt; ACTIONS... Pull out the little arrow at the top and click new action, name it and tell it where to be (default is fine) then hit record.
Do your smart sharpen filter and whatever else you want to later apply to all of the images to just that one image. Then go back to the actions at the bottom and hit stop for it to stop recording. You should see whatever you named your action listed at the very bottom.
Next make sure all of the images you want to apply this to are in one single folder.
Now go to FILE %26gt; AUTOMATE %26gt; BATCH
This will bring up a menu that says set: for you to find where you saved your action then action where you should choose whatever you named your action and source which will let you browse or choose and select your folder with all of the images you want to apply your smart sharpen to.

Is it smart to use a home equity loan to pay off car loans, and a line of credit?
My husband and I need to lower our monthly payments. We have no debt except a line of credit for $60,000 with the payment of $410 and two car loans both adding up to about $25,000 and the combined payment of $1050/mo. So, we are spending about $1400/month for these 3 things. If we got a loan for $110,000 and payed all these off, our payment at 6.6% would be around $700/month. Of course I would always pay more than that per month which would go to principle. Why isn't this a good thing to do? I realize that getting a new car would add to our payments once again. So, that would not be smart. Other than that, is this a smart thing to do? It seems like it is, but then why don't more people do this?|||In theory it sounds good. But here's what happens. You borrow the 100 grand and now you have financed your two old cars for 15,20 or 30 years. If that isn't bad enough statistics show that you will have more car loans, credit cards, etc. PLUS the 100 grand loan in 5 years. You cannot "borrow" yourself to prosperity. What do you think about the HP ipaq 6900 series smart phone?|||The best is such a personal decision. It really depends on your requirements. Since you require GPS and WinMobile you've narrowed down the field considerably. If you have a particular carrier you want to use (or already use) that may narrow down the field even more.
What I did to make my final decision was to read the specifications of the phones available after using my criteria (to narrow the field) and also did web searches of the reviews for that model.
Based on all that (carrier, call quality, PIM features, price), I selected the Nokia E62. There are some features that it's European sibling has that this one doesn't (WiFi, 3G) and I would have like to have those, but they weren't necessary. Do your preshopping home work and you won't regret you decision.

It's a real random question that I was wondering. Some say the smart car is safe, others say it's not. Which of the drivers would be the safest and which car would be more damaged? What car is safer?|||One of the most important things to realize is that during crash testing, they crash the vehicles into stationary objects. That means they only have to dissipate THEIR energy. When it comes to a real world crash, the heavier car has alot more energy and momentum which it transfers to the smaller car.
For instance: A 1000 pound car hits a wall at 10 miles an hour. It has to negate that much momentum. Same small car hits a 3000 pound car head on, each going 10 mph. The small car will end up going the opposite direction at 5mph, while the big vehicle will still be going 5mph in its original direction. That means the small car underwent THREE TIMES the acceleration as the large vehicle (10 to -5 compared to 10 to 5.)
While the smart car is safe when hitting stationary objects, it is not terribly safe when being hit by other, larger vehicles. Id much prefer being in the tundra.|||All toyotas have engineered bodies that will take on about everything. It would smash a smart car. Toyota when hit head on the motor mounts break away dropping engine and top half of front comes up and hood latches to protect passengers. Hit at sides, 35 MPH impact will not go in car.

How do I use the Smart Defender or "Light Bulb" player weapon? I know that I sould be able to see some of the other players play but I dont know how to use it. How does it work?|||You can't use it. How it works is, if it's the QB that's smart then if the defense runs the same plays over and over, then the light bulb with fill up with each recognized play. I really want to go to a four year university but I feel that I'm not smart enough to succeed. I completely failed my SAT (even though you can't technically fail, I consider it such because they are a record low).

How to be street smart in Stockholm city?
I just moved to Stockholm, I speak and can understand a bit of swedish but I want to know how to be street smart. Got any tips?|||Stockholm is a very safe city for its size. The likelihood of anything bad happening is minimal, especially if you use common sense. From your profile, I'm also assuming you're a guy, which means fewer people will bother you.
In my years of living there, I only encountered one dangerous situation. I missed the last train home, and had to take the subway late at night, to an industrial neighborhood ~25 minutes from my own. There was a group of guys on the subway cursing/insulting passengers, who got off at the same stop. I realized that they were following me, and when I sped up, so did they. I knew the area very well, so I turned a corner quickly and took off through a shortcut in the woods. I read in the paper the next day that a guy on that road, at the time I had been there, was mugged and beaten by a group of guys (and I'm almost certain it was the same ones).
This and similar situations can be mostly prevented with basic safety rules:
-Avoid isolated areas (parks, industrial areas, docks) late at night. Don't wander around anywhere alone if you're intoxicated.
-If you need to go through these areas after dark, make sure you're familiar with your surroundings. Don't carry valuables with you. Always carry the number to one of the major taxi companies.
-If you encounter a rowdy group on public transport, let other people off the train/subway/whatever before you. If they get off at your planned stop, take transport to the next stop, and then back to yours.
-Know when big sports games are happening, and avoid the subways for several stops in either direction from the venue. It's particularly bad around Globen/Gullmarsplan. If you seen a large drunken crowd in the streets, take another road.
-People sometimes try to scam for money around Central Station and other highly trafficked areas, often dressed as professionals in a "dire" situation. If someone approaches you for money, ignore them and walk away. Some people find it difficult to do this, but it's honestly the best approach. If you talk with someone, it's much harder to get them to leave you alone. This applies to any uncomfortable situation really, just walk away.
-Never put bags or belongings to your side, if you have to put them on the ground, keep them between your feet.
-Don't sit on outdoor steps or in doorways, even if lots of other people are doing so. If you ever go out on a weekend night, you'll understand why.

Can I program the smart entry key of a toyota Prius to a corolla?
I have 2 spare toyota prius smart entry keys. It is possible to re-program them for my corolla-ultima? Is there any cross compatibility between toyota prius and toyota corolla's smary entry keys? If so how do I need to re program those keys for my corolla?|||Hi,

Changing the Smart Key's coding is not something you can do at home or at an aftermarket/independent shop. They simply won't have the programming equipment.
You have to use a Toyota dealership to reprogram the Smart Keys, however you will run into a much bigger issue.
Smart Keys are linked to a specific vehicle's transponder/receiver system with coding through a specialty progamming computer.
To explain this, if you somehow lost both of your original, already-programmed Smart Keys for any Toyota/Lexus, you would not only have to buy new Smart Keys, but you would also have to replace the internal Smart Key transponder computer inside the vehicle itself.
It is a linked and internally-locked system and it will not accept new Smart Keys made without one of the original Smart Keys present to verify the original codes. One will not work without the other.
So, unless the Smart Keys you have have never been programmed to a Prius and are completely blank, you will not be able to link them to another vehicle, even if that vehicle has a Smart Key system. It doesn't matter if it is a Corolla or any other vehicle.|||No you cannot. It is like two separate streams running which never meet. Furthermore, just to programme a key you need a very sophisticated chip making equipment which costs around 拢6000 from China and Japan, so forget it, do not think too much of this possibility. How smart are Golden Retrievers compared to humans?
I once heard they were as smart as 2 year olds but I don't know. My dog is very smart. Well?|||It has been scientifically proven that dogs are the equivilant of a 2-3 year old child in intelligence. They show the same reasoning levels, deception, comprehension, etc. While they can't count, they do know when there are a number of items are there and when some are missing. They are self aware as well.

It makes me sick when guys who are nice, smart, or both are always treated badly. Do nice people start becoming popular after high school, after college, or never? For instance, I had a cat that learned how to open a door knob (the lever-type.) At first, he stood on his hind legs, but the handle was just out of his reach. After a lot of frustrated meowing and pacing back and forth (because I refused to let him out), he suddenly jumped onto a piece of furniture that was next to the door, and which allowed him to reach over and use his weight to depress the handle!|||Take the cat out into the forest and set it free for two weeks. If the cat survives the two weeks it is smart enough and no further testing is necessary.

I am 14 years old. I have already built about 3 computers and programmed software. I get As or A+ every test. I am in geometry, 1 grade level above. I could easily get A's in the next level up. My dad is super smart and I love technology. Am I close to being a genius or super smart? Is their any way to get closer? How does the Smart Key system work on the Toyota Prius?
I recently purchase a Toyota Prius, the smart key system worked properly when we drove it off the lot. Then latter on we went to start it. We hit the power button twice but the car would not go into gear. I turned off the smart key system and put the key in, shut the car off and turned it back on and it worked. How do I get the smart key system working? I also highly suggest re-reading the "Smart Entry and Start System" section of you Toyota Prius Owner's Manual. In the US 2004 Prius Owner's Manual, that's in section 2-1 "Operation of Instruments and Controls," "Keys and Doors" section, pages 23-33. You should also review the use of the Power switch and the push button start, which is also in your Owner's Manual. In the US 2004 Prius Owner's Manual, that's in section 2-6 "Operation of Instruments and Controls," "'POWER' Switch, Transmission, and Parking Brake" section, pages 129-134. Your manual's pages may vary, however.
A common problem with new owners is that they neglect to press the brake pedal when trying to start the car. If you just press the POWER button without having your foot on the brake pedal, you just cycle between "OFF/ACC/IG-ON" modes. OFF is off; ACC is the accessory mode - 12v power is available for the lights, windows, wipers, and radio, but not much else; IG-ON is like ACC except that you now also have the MFD powered on and climate control/fan use. Note that the sole power usage is from the 12v battery, which is not recharged in any of these modes. It sounds like your not starting situation is this case of forgetting or otherwise not pressing hard enough on the brake pedal when starting the car, and getting stuck/confused in IG-ON mode.
If the brake pedal is depressed while pressing the POWER button, the car will cycle between "OFF/READY." OFF is off, READY means that the car is ready to go and can be put into gear and driven. The hybrid battery is connected and will be recharged as needed by the gasoline engine, and the hybrid battery will recharge the 12v battery as needed.
Anyhow, yes, there is a toggle button under the steering wheel to turn on/off the Smart Key System if equipped. Unless you paid for this feature and don't really want it, the only reasons to turn off the Smart system would be either for valet parking, or if you are not going to be driving your Prius for 2+ weeks (reduce the parasitic load on the 12v battery).
With a recognized Smart Key on your person, as you approach the Prius near one of the external sensors (front driver's door, front passenger's door, rear hatch door) from about 6 feet, the interior dome light will turn on and the car will be expecting you. The car will unlock when the back of the door handle of the appropriate external sensor is touched. (To lock, all doors must first be closed, then touch the black square pad on the outside of the door.) Get into the car. The car will recognize that the recognized Smart Key is inside of the vehicle (interior sensor), and will await for you to press the POWER button. All this time, you never have to touch your keyfob.
If you didn't have the Smart Key System in your car, or you turned off the Smart system with the toggle button under the steering wheel, then to lock/unlock your car you'd have to press the lock/unlock remote keyless entry buttons on the keyfob, and to start the car you'd have to put the keyfob into the dash slot.
If the battery in your keyfob was dead, you'd have to use the metal mechanical key inside of the keyfob to unlock the driver's door. Then just put the keyfob into the dash slot to drive yourself to a Radio Shack or the like to get a new keyfob battery.
If the Prius' 12v accessory battery was dead, then to get into the car you'd have to use the metal mechanical key to unlock the driver's door. You'd then pop the hood, and jumpstart your Prius... (The remote keyless entry will not work without the 12v battery. The car cannot connect up the hybrid battery to start the car without the computers running, and the computers first need the 12v accessory battery.)
There are some situations when the Smart system or the remote keyless entry may not work due to interference. For example:
if you have a metallic object next to your keyfob in your pocket or hand, such as a cellphone or iPod, or otherwise blocking the signal between your keyfob and the car
You are parked next to a high-power radio antenna, such as a radio station, a police/fire station, a military base|||you put the key in the slot then you depress the brake while pressing the start button then you shift from park to drive|||Smart Entry and Smart Start allow you to unlock the doors and start the car without having to take the key fob out of your pocket. Prius senses the fob in your pocket; just touch the inner surface of either front door handle (or press lightly on the rear hatch handle) to open a locked door, and just push the Power button on the dashboard to start the car.
If you have the SmartEntry Fob in your pocket and you walk away from the car while it is running, the car will beep at you a few times, and a yellow warning icon on the dash lights up: a picture of a key with an exclamation point over it. But the car keeps running. How can the smart one be funny?
I've lately been working on a comic series, it's that typical dumb guy, smart guy sort of thing. Though it's been a bit of a hit, the dumb guy seems to steal the show, as you may expect. I need to smart one to be just as likeable at the dumb guy - but how?
A good example of this is Sam %26amp; Max. Sam is my personal favourite, even though he is the smart one - though I know of plenty of people who favour Max.

You might be able to make the smart guy funnier by making him LESS likable - for example, by giving him a grouchy or sarcastic streak. But this is trite and overused.
A better idea might be to give the smart guy some kind of goal or dream of his own; jokes tend to flow pretty well out of those. If the smart guy wants to discover alien life, or start a rock band, or be a star quarterback, you suddenly have a lot more material.|||Even smart people can have foibles we can be amused by. Generally, I'd assume the smart guy's 'funniness' is in verbal adroitness, wise sayings, etc. He can be likeable by the very fact he puts up with the dumb one, with endless patience (but with wry comments making it clear he's well aware his friend/partner is unbelievably stupid).
Jeeves and Wooster are a classic duo, with the smart 'servant' forever getting his asinine 'master out of problems of his own making. Jeeves's humour is subtle - no great one liners there, but rather oblique observations which often go over Wooster's head. (It wouldn't do to embarrass the young master by telling him what a clot he is.)|||Your dumb guy is normally called a stooge.

Is this a smart/okay way to start making myself known as a poet/publishing?
What I was thinking is I could go on Watt Pad and publish my poems there. After I get some views on that, I could try sending in a poem to a newspaper with a notice to check out my eBook online. Then slowly climb up... Any tips? Other ideas? Is this a smart/okay way to do it?|||No. That's not the way to go about it. You especially don't send a publisher to a link to check out your poetry or work, that's an automatic rejection. Always follow their submission guidelines and it does not include posting your link for them to check out your poetry. Now, you can post a link to your website so they can check out the poet and whatever content you have on the site, but don't REQUIRE them to click the link in order to check out your work - they won't.
Also, reviews on watt pad doesn't mean anything because you can easily enlist yourself, your friends, and your family to start writing great reviews for you. What WILL help you is getting your poetry published in legit, professional paying magazines. If someone pays you for your work then they obviously thought it was good. Can you use an andoid or smart phone with a basic phone plan?
I have a basic plan with t-mobile. I only make phone calls and text messages. I am thinking of getting a smart phone now and would like to do a little more with it in the future but for now I want to keep my basic phone plan until I am ready.
